Lifecrafting is…

Crafting a life with intention & purpose.

… creative self-discovery and personal growth.

We’ll use “art as process” rather than “art as product.” Think you’re not an artist? Allow me to guide you with easy art-making techniques. We'll dig deep together using simple supplies like images from magazines, scissors, and a glue stick. If you decide to work with me, I’ll send you a Thank-You kit to get started.

… about life’s transitions.

Our entrance into the military was structured and celebrated—our departure from service perhaps less so. Many of us struggle with finding our post-service identity and purpose. We also face other life transitions: new jobs, locations, empty nests, and/or relationship changes. Lifecrafting can provide a creative way to move through any transition.

… building emotional expertise.

Perhaps, like me, you found yourself unable to feel and express a full range of emotions. Maybe you’ve hidden them from yourself and others. When I left the Navy, I understood mad, happy, and fear. I didn’t know how to express more than that. I’m actively working on my own emotional expertise. May I support you on your journey?

… client-led.

Wherever you want to start, we’ll begin. Some enjoy deep-diving into their inner realms, while others prefer to explore their outer world and relationships. Not sure where you want to start? We’ll create and see where it leads us.

… truly a whole-person approach.

Perhaps you’d like to explore spiritual aspects of your life or your relationships with family & friends. Maybe you’re drawn to shadow work. We can dig deep into any and all facets of your life.

… not therapy.

Generally speaking, Depth Coaching is a non-pathologizing, whole-person approach focused on lifelong self-discovery and growth. It is a client-led, co-creative partnership designed to help individuals live more intentionally. According to Dr. Corey Wilks, “Therapy is about functioning. Coaching is about flourishing.”

I am not a licensed mental health professional. If, throughout our relationship, I feel we are approaching therapy territory, I will ask you to seek a licensed mental health professional for additional support.

… so much more.

Lifecrafting is an open invitation to explore what’s important to you through creative discovery.
